A visita

My friend Nicolas was visiting for a couple of days. At the first day we walked around the city for a bit. Actually the whole city. Unfortunately, I didn’t take many pictures. That’s just a couple of impressions.
Marques de Pombal, the guy who rebuild the center part of the city after the awful flood in 1755. One can see that it was built from scratch. All the streets are in line, pointing to the River Tejo. You can get an idea of it when you look closely at the next picture. Behind the Park, everything goes straight down.
