Coimbra is only a two hour bus ride away from Lisbon. It is a cozy student city, which goes crazy once or twice a year to celebrate “Queima de Fitas”. The pictures have nothing to do with it, they just happened to be taken at the time. I don’t have any pictures of the festival of presentable quality. The only thing I can say, it was awesome. Several bands playing all night, heaps of drunken students and fireworks.
