Laura
September 5, 2013
To show that I’m a good host to my visitors, I’m trying to pack as many things in little time. Of course, that way I get around a lot as well. Laura was my third summer visitor. We had rent a car, but the car rental company must have made a mistake (or maybe it was me). Arriving there at the date I thought that I had ordered the car, looking into empty faces. My name wasn’t on the list. But at least on the one for the day after. At least we knew were we had to go the next day. 😉
Besides that little misunderstanding, everything went well. Not having a car at the first day allowed us to explore nearby locations for a bit.

At Home
Laura and me trying to show how scenic our sofa is. But unfortunately uncomfortable as hell. People gain a lot of pleasure by looking at it, but not by sitting on it.
Let the road trip begin
The idea was to head south to were I was with Max and Phil, leaving out the places which weren’t worth seeing. Unfortunately they gave us an OPEL. Let’s say that there are better cars in the world. For instance, Toyota and FIAT, which I had rent before.
Odeceixe
That’s the place were Max, Phil and I spent the night before. It is a nice surfer beach surrounded by cliffs.
Naked old people. |
Campfire |
If my dentist is reading this, could you please check if everything is alright? |
Our second accommodation was a lot more “sophisticated“. We had a two room apartment with an open air dinning area in the mids of an olive cultivation farm. Laura was complaining for quite a bit. I couldn’t see why, and decided for us to stay. The only creepy thing around was I. In the morning our gardeners woke us up at an unchristly hour, 8 am. After figuring out if there was a problem, there wasn’t, we left to continue our trip eastwards.

Bedroom, I blame Laura that it wasn’t cleaned. |

Sleeping are, I have slept worse. |
Seville
Usually Seville is supposed to be really f****** hot in summer, some forty degrees. Fortunately we were lucky, only 29 degrees.
I aways imagined that Seville was a little village with a lot of hills. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

An other Spanish city of which I can’t rememeber the name.
I could look it up, but I don’t want to. It was basically a lot of roman ruins surrounded by more modern not so roman buildings. Food could have been better. It was hot. Not the food, the outside.
