Today the weather was beautiful all day. However, I can’t imagine doing the hike in even warmer weather than 20 degrees. As it is, it is just right. I imagine the summer to be unbearable

Since the walk yesterday seemed so long and hard, I got my headphones ready for distraction today and then didn’t use them. It’s funny how nice weather and a clear mind, can make an otherwise similar trail, seem so much different. Here while hiking, the mental impact is easily felt. Now I wonder what I can transfer from this realization to everyday life?

We are always reminded of the corona virus guidelines at the hostels, but today was the first time that a hostel was unsure if it would open. Apparently, public facilities such as schools and the university were also closed today in Logroño.
