The break day has obviously brought enough rest and my foot plays along again. It is still a little swollen, but hardly presses in the shoe. Tomorrow I should manage the upcoming 28 km without any problems.

Today I ran an alternative route again. The main route goes along the highway. I have then but rather spared me. I suspect that this “main route” is from a time when there was no highway. There are alternative routes all along the trail every now and then. Mostly they are less traveled and more idyllic, but sometimes a bit longer. So far I have not regretted it.

By my break day now again pilgrims close up with me, which had already left behind days ago. In today’s hostel I am the translator, for all those who do not know Spanish. Since the effort to learn it has paid off. 😀

To my comment from yesterday, I would like to add that I am of course aware that constant sun can also become “boring” in the long run. After all, the point of the exercise is just to project my dream life, as a kind of North Star. It does not mean that I believe in a thoroughly fulfilled life. This has already not worked in the matrix. Without light there is also no dark. But by too many brightness, one can already become dark before eyes. 😛
